We spent Mother's Day traveling from Paris to Chester (30 min from Manchester), where Tanner had his first taste of Saag Paneer. After a couple of days in the area, we spent a night in Oxford. Then on to London, where he got to see Auntie Bonnie again and meet Auntie Katie, Uncle Marcus and cousins Max & Alex. We were lucky to leave the day before they closed London airports because of another volcano eruption!
Tanner went to Europe for the first time! He was a trooper on the 11hr flight and made many new friends with the other passengers and flight attendants. He adjusted to the time difference better than we did. This week were in Dreux (~1hr west of Paris) and Paris. We didn't have much time so we did a quick walk by the big attractions.
We went to Mendocino the last weekend in April with our friends Jack, Allison and Tanner's buddy, Violet. It was beautiful but windy at times (check out Tanner's face in the family shot).
Tanner got a goofy new sun hat. When he's older, he'll probably cringe to see pictures of himself in it, though I think it's cute. Here are also some pics of him teething on a frozen bagel.
