Week of Dec 20th - Christmas

It was Tanner's first Christmas! So, he didn't care all that much since he didn't know what was going on but he loved having Grandmum, Grand Buzzy, Nick and Daphne around. We opened Christmas crackers and made him wear a special outfit with a reindeer on his butt. There was lots of fun to be had, including watching the ceiling fan (he gets mesmerized) and posing him with his toys.

Week of Dec 13th

Tanner had his 100 day birthday on the 17th, complete with a white rice cake. And Claudia and Tanner recreated an old photo of baby Ben with his great-grandmother. If you look really, really closely, you can see that the pattern on Dee Dee's dress exactly matches our couch.

Week of Dec 6th

Tanner turned 3 months this week!

Poop

Next in the series of Tanner as famous historical figures...

Week of Nov 22nd - Thanksgiving!

Another big week for Tanner. It was his first Thanksgiving and he got to meet Grandma & Grandpa Day. He's getting big but he's still smaller than the turkey we had for dinner. He also went to the big park by our house for the first time. We got some good shots of him mugging for the camera.

Week of Nov 15th

Big news this week. Tanner can now reliably find his thumb to suck on, though he usually covers his face with the rest of his hand to do so. It's pretty cute. That has been the key to even bigger news. Since the 16th, Tanner has slept through the night - 8-10 hours of uninterrupted sleep! Life is good.

Week of Nov 8th

Tanner turned 2 months old this week! He celebrated with a visit to the doctors and some shots. Bummer. But we found out he's 10 lbs 14.6 oz and 23.25" long. Pretty normal for a baby his age.

Mommy, Tanner & Daddy

Aren't they cute? I'm so lucky. That blur on the right is my thumb.

Week of Nov 1st

Some folks have mentioned that they wished they had captured how tiny their kids hands and feet were when they were little, so I did just that. It was another big week for Tanner. He's been finding his fingers more reliably nd sometimes even gets his thumb in. He still will sleep with his arm(s) suspended in mid-air. And he stood, or rather leaned, for the first time. There's also some more gratuitous video of nothing too spectacular but he does make a cute sad face.
